At times, you may want some privacy such that if someone is going to interrupt you, then you would like to know about it ahead of time. For example, you may be having a private conversation with your spouse in the family room and you would like to know if one of the kids is approaching from a nearby room. For this reason, Privacy Mode provides you with an alert when someone enters one (or more) of the other rooms in the house. The alert can be a flashing of the lights or a change of room scenes.
To get to the menu, open the Advanced Device Settings Menu and click on the "Privacy" button.
You will get the following menu.
If the “Enable Privacy Mode” option is selected then Privacy Mode is supported in this room. That is, you can put the room into Privacy Mode by checking the checkbox in the Room Menu. If this option is not selected , then the checkbox in the Room Menu does not exist for "Privacy" and this room can not be put into Privacy Mode.
If the second option is selected, then the room will automatically go into Privacy Mode any time the room is put into the Romantic Scene (via Scene Continuation or via any manual method).
There are two possible interrupt actions. Select the third option to change the Room Scene when the interruption occurs or choose the fourth option to flash the lights when it occurs. You may choose both, if you want.
Select the rooms that will cause the alarm from the list of room. That is, if any of the selected rooms become occupied, then this room will receive an interrupt or either the room changing scene or the lights flashing.
