Below are the steps for downloading a copy of all Device Description Files from the Destiny web site to the Destiny library on your PC.

Navigate to the AV component you wantClick on Download All DDFs. The screen at the right will pop up. Please enter the user name and password for our password-protected web site.

Open the web fileClick "Open" and wait while the library downloads to your PC. |
|
Extract the zipped library of filesWhen it is finished downloading, Windows Explorer will open as shown at the right
|
|
|
Click on "Extract all files".
|
|
|
The Extraction Wizard will open up. Click next.
|
|
|
Below the words "File will be extracted to this directory", Paste one the following lines into the text box:
If you are running Ubiquity 3.2: C:\Program Files\Destiny Networks\Ubiquity\Ubiquity3.2\devices
If you are running Ubiquity 3.1: C:\Program Files\Destiny Networks\Ubiquity\Ubiquity3.1\devices
Click "Next".

The "Confirm File Replace" menu will pop up. Click "Yes To All". |

|
The extraction will take place - updating your whole library. After the process is over, click "Finish". You are done. |
