Before sheet rock
Drill 3/8” hole for the wire
Insert a nail
At the final sensor location
Into the stud
Bisecting the angle of the corner
For the hole in the sheet rock
Pull wire
Leave a coil of wire in wall
Wrap around nail and tape off
Leave a tail of 6”
After sheet rock
Pull the coil out of the wall for a clean wire
Mount the Acuity 57 area sensor
For a corner location mount the BR-2 corner bracket
Mount the BR-1 bracket upside down for a better downward angle
Move the green PC card all the way up to make it easier to connect the wires
Connect Shub x1 to a White wire to the NO contact on the sensor
Connect Shub x2 to a Green wire to the Common contact on the sensor
The Shub LED will be normally on, but off when activated (opposite of Spy)
Move the green PC card to the center
Adjust the “P.I.R. SENS” pot to the 12 o’clock position
The “TIME” pot bypassed so its setting will not matter
The NC contact on the connector is not active (the screw should be removed)
