To add a fan, select the "Fans" layer of the Design Module. Click in the location in the room where the fan is located. You will get the following menu.

Fill in the Location and Name you prefer for the fan controller.
Check the "Controlled by (and wired to) checkbox.
Use the drop down menus to select the relays that will control it.
Click "OK" to add the fan to your house layout.
