Thermostat Control Menu

To view the thermostat control for a room, click on the room to bring up the Room menu, and then click on the thermostat icon. Note that the room must be part of an HVAC Zone. The icon for the thermostat in the Room menu will appear as one of the following:

HVAC is off

HVAC is on in heating mode

HVAC is on in cooling mode

View the Thermostat

Click in the room to bring up the Room menu.

Click on the icon of the thermostat (the bottom icon).

And you will get something like this.

The upper left temperature is the current temperature in the room.

The "Target" temperature is temperature you would like the room to be at.

Use the up and down arrows on the right to set the "Target" temperature.

"Heat", "Cool", and "Off" are the three modes the thermostat can be in.

The "Fan" can be "On" all of the time (even when the room is not being heated or cooled) or can be in "Auto" mode so that the fan is only on when heating or cooling the room.

Click OK to make changes. That is, the new target temperature, the new heating or cooling mode, and the new fan mode will not take effect until you click "OK".

Advanced Temperature Settings

From the Temperature Settings layer in the Design Module, you can control the Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning settings.

NOTE: In the current release of Ubiquity software, the Advanced Temperature Settings window is only accessible through the Design Module application. In a future release, these controls will be accessible through the above browser GUI Temperature Control dialog window.
